I don’t particularly like a blaring radio when in a trotro.
I like it even less when it is some dude on the radio screaming, telling jokes and random pithy statements.
Then everyone starts laughing, laughing with strangers and suddenly chumming, all at something the radio presenter said.
Then I start smiling (at this dumb joke on the radio or the thought that other passengers are laughing at this dumb joke?)
Then smiles turn to laughter as the joke hit my Ghanaian soul and I enjoy the Laugh.
Don’t take yourself too seriously.
A joke is supposed to be just that – a joke. It qualifies to be called a joke if it is ribald, dumb, smart or plain slapstick or some radio presenter screaming at the top of his voice.
